It's about time I got around to posting this ^^;

It's Salsa the brave little monkey from Mother 3!

He's approx 13 inches tall
his special feature... HE'S MUSICAL!

That's right :dance: When you press on his tummy, he plays the opening door song!

Why don't major companies hire people like you to make their plushies? Cause in comparison to the Nintendo plushies they make and sell now, your stuff is SO much nicer in quality. Same goes for anime ones.

Or is sewing something strictly something to stay a hobby?

And so cute! I love his rosy cheeks! How did you make them, makeup? I wanted to give my group rosy cheeks with some pink lipstick... I've done it before, but I was too nervous that I'd wreck a doll, so ended up not doing it. ^^;

Yea, I used a blush that stains and won't wash off well.
Lipstick will smudge and will get oily.. That might effect the rest of the materials you use, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Actually, they do. They're the prototype artists.
Nintendo's are fairly good though! Sometimes the proportions are off, but the detail work is usually good? :( Were there any specific ones you didn't like?

For me, sewing doubles as a hobby as well as my job. I'm a freelance artist :)
When I get too burnt out from sewing.. I go sew for myself XD;;
