BIG IMPORTANT EDIT: So so sorry for spamming everyone's inboxes but I woke up to a horrible email.
Apparently paypal is angry at me for holding a raffle and are requesting I shut it down immediately as it is considered a lottery and not allowed. I did not realize this and am very upset... They are threatening to close my paypal account. If anyone wants further information, I'd be happy to provide all that I can but technically I need to shut down the raffle, So if you were set with tickets etc please note/email me and I will explain everything if you'd like to know how this will be dealt with. If you'd like to request a refund I understand as well and be happy to comply.

Donations will be unaffected though, so I'll still be keeping that up for the time being.

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped/is helping!! I really cannot express my gratitude enough!! The amount of people just requesting to even help took over a day to go through.. and I still have messages left in my inbox. It might sound really sappy, but it sent me to tears receiving such overwhelming support from friends, fellow artists and perfect strangers who were good Samaritans. I appreciate each and everyone of your notes/comments/emails/post/reposts.. Just really really really truly thank you!



First off, my apologies I haven't been around DA lately.. things here at home have been hectic again.

My cat Nibby, yes, my monster who was having problems in 2007 and finally got well and healthy..
His health plummeted due to the recent cat food recall. If you have cats, do not feed them Nutro!
I wish I would have known sooner otherwise I never would have bought this

Within 2 weeks time his health has deteriorated to the point he is horribly-deathly ill once again.
He's extremely dehydrated, throws up and cries out when he does.. he's nauseated and doesn't want to eat/drink. This means a lot because he's usually a pig. He won't move at all during the day and just wants to hide. It's the most heartbreaking pitiful thing I've seen.

Even when he was sick last time, he didn't scream out when he was feeling like he wanted to throw up.

I'm really sorry to do this but I'm putting the fall contest on hold indefinitely. I promise something nice for those who have already entered and waited so patiently though! But this is kind of life or death priority that I cannot spare my time for.

My husband just started a new job but won't be getting his first paycheck for a few weeks.

In all of my desperation I'd like to hold a raffle to help pay for him. 100% of the proceeds are going to pay for all of his medical needs. If you don't care so much for a raffle but have the heart to spare anything I've created a donate button at the bottom of this journal and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping!

Short version: He has a type of liver disease known as Hepatic Lipidosis (AKA Fatty liver.) It's treatable but is going to take about $1900-2k in procedures. Yay .
We're already almost halfway there before we can pay for everything to get done!
